Import your fabric scans to the new Image Worktable. Notice that the original library block is still there just as it was in the library, with 2 colorings, but a new block has been added. Electric Quilt Company has reformatted and updated my EQ6 Pieced Drawing book for EQ7 It’s now called, EQ with Me: Pieced Drawing. EQ7 scales the fabrics for you - no matter what size your quilt or block - so what you see in EQ7 is what you'll get in your finished quilt. Click the View Project Sketchbook button then click on the Blocks section. Let’s see what happened to our block now.Use the Fabric Tools to recolor the block. Remember that the project name appears at the very top of the EQ Mini window. When you select it and go to layout, you’ll see it’s a horizontal strip layout, then it’s pieced blocks and with it being 42 wide and selecting 7 blocks, it works with 6 x 2 finished bricks. Notice that it is already nicely colored. When you open up easy quilts you have to scroll to the right to see the 2nd quilt in the sketchbook and select the brick/log quilt. This will put the block on the Block Worktable ready for editing. Open the Block Library, find a block and choose Edit to Block Worktable.

With a Block Edited from the Library or Sketchbook An additional coloring added to the Sketchbook beyond the 2 colorings, would created a new block in the Sketchbook, with 1 coloring.
